Player Name: Nicholas Hewitt
Character Name: Fearghus Miach
Race: Human
Homeland: Palrim
Profession: “Hired Hand”
3 Adjectives to Describe:
  • Uncivilized – Once a polite mannered young boy, he stopped caring what people thought of him after he returned home from Detherwyn’s trap. No one knew him and those that did he would likely never see again.
  • Observant – Between once hunting for his family food and being under the constant threat of a Dark Fae attack, he’s senses have been toned. He tends to know everything that is going on around him; at least in his immediate area.
  • Patient – Being trapped for hundreds of years does that to you.

  • Coin – He does little to bring that enjoyment to him. However, he actively seeks work for the sake of being able to “buy happiness”.
  • Power – Fearghus believes true power to be beyond him. If the chance were to arise, he would almost certainly be willing to take the risk to attain it.

Weaknesses:
  • Ignorance – Fearghus does not understand how the world works and thus he never truly fits in.
  • Greed – He is out for himself and no one else. At this point, the Veldron Knights are the only folk he particularly has any attachment too. As such, he would be willing to defect to whoever pays the best. (The exception being, of course, the Veldron. He will not betray them.)

Fearghus was raised by the typical farming family of Palrim for the first fourteen years of his life. It was a large family. Such was needed for one family to tend to its own farm without needing to hire extra hands. Living in his home was his mother, his father, his aunts and his uncles, brothers, sisters and cousins. They all had their own jobs, and Fearghus’ was to hunt the wild deer and bring meat to the dinner table.

Most of his family being sick, he went to do his hunting alone one chilly morning. He would not return to the site of his home for hundreds upon hundreds of years. Along with a strange group of soldiers called “the Veldron Knights”, he used his skilled bow and the sword of a fallen comrade to fight the Dark Fae that had trapped them.

Eons later, when more people would fall under the sway of the Dark Fae’s domain, the keen minds of the gathered along with their honed skills in combat would send the vile Detherwyn back through her portal. The now free Fearghus travelled north, back to his, or what he thought would be his, family farm.

Not only would it be strangers who lived there, they looked nothing like the family he remembered. Still bearing the gear taken from fallen allies and his hunting bow, he would set off on his own and make a largely successful attempt at gathering a small fortune. However, the thrill of combat now brought him a certain joy and even a nostalgic feeling from the imprisonment.
